Donnelly River Village welcomes adventurous souls arriving on foot or by bike.
Q What are our accommodation choices?
A: At the Old Schoolhouse – There is a “free” open-sided hut (just like those on the Bibbulmun and Munda Biddi Track). OR stay in the hut and have access to shared kitchen/shower facilities for $15 per person per night. OR have access to shared kitchen/shower facilities AND a bed in the shared bunkhouse for $30 per person per night. Both paid options include a fresh towel. (Prices subject to change)
No prior booking is required for these options; just pop into the general store before 5 pm (or 4 pm on Sundays) to pay and collect what you need. All of the above options are available for single night stays (or, on request, an extra night).
Q: Can we have our own private facilities and accommodation
A: Yes, we have two bedsits on site. Each has 1 queen bed, an ensuite, and a small kitchenette (bar fridge, kettle, microwave). They must be booked and paid for before arrival. (Use the Book Now button on this website). Bedsits can be booked for single or multiple nights. Online bookings cannot be made within the next 3 days. Linen is not included but can be hired (linen pack includes towels, sheets, pillow slips, doona).

Q Does the general store sell dehydrated meals, gas canisters, and other essential supplies (including food and drink) and bandaids?
A: Yes, we are well geared up for all hiker/cyclist needs, including a full café menu. Don’t miss the famous Donnelly scones.
Q Can I get a meal after the kitchen closes (i.e., the kitchen closes 1.5 hours before the General Store closes)?
A: Yes, most of our homemade meals are in frozen form and can be taken back to the bunk house and microwaved. There is also a gas barbecue on the verandah of the old school house for your use.
Q: Can I send a food parcel to the general store
A: Yes. Our postal address is: Donnelly River Village, c/- CMB Via Manjimup WA 6258. Please send it at least 2 weeks before your arrival, clearly stating on the parcel your name, ETA, mobile phone number and return address.
Q: Are there laundry facilities?
A: Yes, there is a coin-operated dryer and washer ($2 & $1) accessed at the back of the general store 24/7. It is $5 per wash/per dry. We can provide change at the general store. Laundry powder is included.
Q: What else do I need to know?
A: We don’t provide WiFi (except for emergencies), and phone coverage is (currently) limited (unless you have Telstra service). There are free phone calls available from the phone booth outside General Store. EFTPOS is available.
